In my opinion Needs have to be catagorized.
Naturally shelter, food, clothing, and potential resources and the who, what, where answers.

Hi Jessica,

You are asking a profound philosophical question. I think one must first think about what this means for oneself. There are many theories that form the basis for medical and nursing practice.

Many nursing schools teach the "Maslow Hierarchy of Needs" Theory. This theory explains that we have very basic needs which( usually) must be fulfilled and maintained to reach higher goals and needs.
