I cannot speak to being a forensic pathologist but I remember my daughter telling what she wanted to become after college....she didn't want to work weekends or long hours and she wanted to make ALOT of money.
Just saying this because your question was about how many hours you would have to work. The real question is how much are you willing to commit to yourself to become successful in any chosen career. Don't worry about the hours as much as finding the job that you love doing.
