I am interested in working with computers?

Hello. I would like to know some of the different careers I could get with working on the computer? I like computers and I know that you can fix them and use them for work but what else can I do?

There's various careers to go into, for ex: creating software applications for computers/tablets/mobile phones (Software Engineer), designing the application and creating the best user experience and design (UI/UX Desinger), working with the kernel and various system calls (built on top of hardware, Kernel/System Engineer), designing the hardware itself (could be from the basic circuits in the CPU/GPU to designing/optimizing different parts within the computer, Hardware Engineer), various other positions too. Applications are diverse as to anywhere computers can be used.

At this point in your life, almost everything you touch involves working with a computer.
Computers are simply a tool that is useful in solving problems.
In the computer field, there are many different paths from designing a faster/smaller/better computer hardware, writing the software that runs inside the computer, working with others to combine all of the different parts to build each computer to even selling the computers to the end customer. The computer that may sit on your desk has had a lot of different people in various jobs work together to create it and get it to you. The trick is thinking about what you enjoy doing and seeing where that may fit in the development process. Good luck.

From a hardware level you can design computers/circuits and or design processors(CPU's, GPU's.) The computer as a tool can be used to perform many tasks. You can build apps to help people perform tasks, write and make reports on various subjects etc. There is just a vast number of things that you could do and work with computers.
