In which stream i should select in higher studies to become a teacher?

I want to become a teacher. But, I couldn't know to select my stream in higher studies. Please tell me which stream could i select? #teacher

In the U.S. there are many paths to becoming a teacher, especially if your goal is to teach in lower, middle, or high school. If you wish to teach at the college level, you will most likely need a PhD. For teaching in private secondary schools, you need a Bachelor's Degree. After the B.A., a Masters in your area of interest is preferred but not always required in private schools. Public schools require a Bachelor's and some extra schooling to obtain state certification. I would recommend studying whatever you are passionate about in college. Also, if you have the opportunity, become a summer camp counselor in order to work with young people, gain experience, and see if teaching/mentoring/counseling feels like a good fit for you.
