I would want to know more about kindergarten teacher

I want when grow to be a kindergarten teacher because i love working with little kids because is always my dream to be a kindergarten teacher. #teacher

I'm so happy to hear that you want to be a teacher.

know that it is a tough job and that you will have to dedicated to giving of your self more than you currently do as your job will be to protect, educate and inform a very malleable group of young learners. You will likely be their very first interaction with a formal educational setting so take some time to think about if this is what you want to do.

ask for volunteer opportunities with your teachers, or principals to see if you can help first to see if this is what you want to do.
Small things like helping out the lower grades with their homework, or organizing a game with the Kinder class.

I have been a teacher for 20 years and have taught Kindergarten for 5. Kindergarten is magical. You have the honor of being their first teacher and introducing them to a world outside their families. As a Kindergarten teacher, you never sit down. Each day is completely different from the next. You have to be really organized as attention spans fizzle out after 10 minutes, so offering multiple activities is key all the while satisfying curriculum expectations. You will likely work with an Early Childhood Educator. Having a teaching partner can be a lot of fun. It's someone to laugh with when things get crazy (like when 3 kids pee their pants within 5 minutes of one anther as Suzy decides to cut her hair). The creativity is endless and you get to relive childhood through your students. My favourite part is the enthusiasm to learn. It takes tons of patience to be a Kindergarten teacher and you may want to invest in good hearing protection.
