Hi Dorcas -- It sounds like when you set your mind to something, like learning English, you're able to accomplish your goal. Nursing may or may not be a hard field for you. The fact that you *want* to become a nurse leads me to think you have a very good head start on your goal. In college are you in a nursing major? If so, I'd encourage you to continue to take classes and see what opportunities there might be for practical learnings along the way so that you have more information to decide if nursing is right for you. If you're not in a nursing degree program, I'd encourage you to explore how you could take some classes in that field. All the best to you!

If nursing is really your passion, go for it. Just keep in mind it is a very impacted field and to get into nursing school you have to really stand out. You may even be put on a waiting list, but don’t let that get you down. Follow your dreams. If you have a passion for something you will succeed. The degree itself is a lot of memorization because you have to take anatomy, physiology and medical terminology amongst other classes. I believe you can do it. Good luck!
