Vijayalakshmi’s Answer

My Sister is a Paediatrician and I can advice you based on what I observed from her. To become a doctor, you have to really have strong skills of memorising concepts and terminologies. You can start with Human Anatomy and Human Physiology which are the basics and also read on Bio-chemistry as it makes a base for Medicine.

M.’s Answer

It’s difficult to think of any specific books you have to read. I believe that reading science books, specially biology and chemistry, would be a good start. As you advance in your studies, think about reading introductory books on physiology, neuroscience, and history of medicine.
