Hi! You should look for universities who have computer science or computer engineering as a major. And then from there you can factor in what type of school you want - large or small, public or private, location, etc.
From there it’s worth looking at the alumni’s of that school on LinkedIn or the stats the school has listed on what companies those students go to. Sometimes schools have partnerships with certain companies in terms of recruiting so that can be helpful if you know what company you want to work for.

Hi Tyra!
Computer programming is a great skill to have and I actually know of many people who don't even go to school and have been employed by top companies. There are a ton of resources online to learn how to program, but if you want to go to college to learn you should enroll in a college with a Computer Science degree or Electrical Engineering degree (typically, these two are combined). Anything software related would work as well.
If you are ever interested in hardware, I would consider enrolling as an Electrical Engineer. Good luck with your career!
