Do rigorous classes prepare you for the ACT, or will I need a prep class?

Do Honors/AP/College classes prepare you enough for the ACT, or will I need a prep class? I'm trying to figure out if I should try to fit an ACT Prep class into my schedule. Is it harder to become an actor/actress as an adult?

I know there's a lot of casting companies who come around for children or teenagers to be in commercials and start off acting that way. But I am almost 17 and I can't afford to go to the acting programs offered for me. So my question is, is it harder for opportunities like this as you reach age 18? I really enjoy acting and want to do it for a living but I also understand that it's not a secure job choice. #acting #act #film-acting #theatre #theater #short-films #films

Will an AP test score (+3) push a low score on ACT when applying for college?

I'm taking an AP Spanish class and I was told if I get a three, four or a five as a score on the exam colleges will look at that more then if I get a low score on the ACT. #ap #spanish #act #score

Will colleges ever do away with standardized testing?

Many people, including myself, stress over SATs and ACTs. I believe that these tests never truly show an individual's true potential. SAT and ACT scores can also be the make-it-or-break-it determination of someone getting into their dream college, which is completely unfair. Will the SAT and ACT ever get taken away? #SAT #ACT #college #college-admissions

What are some ways I can make my junior year of high school less overbearing?

I am a high school student going into my third-year of high school. As you are no longer a newbie in high school, you would think that it would be easier to handle both school and the rest of your life since you should have gotten the hang of things already. Unfortunately, it only gets harder. I have heard many stories and experiences of recent junior year high school graduates. All of these students warned me. They warned me of the upcoming horror and apprehension that the junior year of high school brings about. There are college applications, the SAT, the ACT, sports, extracurricular activities, even more challenging courses, etc. I have already piled on Cross Country to my first quarter of the school year. I am not sure if this was a good decision or not either. If there are any special tips you can give me to survive junior year, I will be happy to read them! #sports #high-school #classes #high-school-classes #sat #act #junior-year #survival

What are the best SAT and/or ACT prep programs there are?

A lot of people achieve success in many different ways but I think the way that will most benefit me is some sort of prep program that doesn't cost too much (otherwise I can't afford it) and it doesn't matter if it is in person or online. Either way I am looking for a prep program that will help me get a really high score on the SAT or the ACT. Any advice is appreciated especially if the person themselves have gone through the program. #sat #high-school-students #act #test-planning #prep-programs #test-prep

How can the ACT/SAT determine a persons success or ability to do well in college if it doesn't apply to there actually career ?

I am asking because it doesn't seem fair because it does fit each persons needs. It only seem to have a standard that not fair because everyone learns and is taught differently. #act
