The career you've chose this year seemed like the one that best fits you, but if you had a choice to pick a new career, would you change it or not?

I want to major in Anthropology, but it seems like sooner or later down my career path, I would want to become a Engineer that builds new homes or remodels homes. Is forensic anthropology the right major for me?

Hi! I've always loved forensics and once I found forensic anthropology it seemed like a good route for me. After doing some more research I realized it requires some math skills, math is not one of my strong suits so I'm doubting my choice. What is it like to actually work with anthropology? For someone who struggles with math, would this be the right choice for me? Should I pick another major? These are questions that have been running through my head.

What type of internships can I look into while working towards my degree in Sociology and Anthropology?

I am looking for an internship for my senior year in my undergraduate studies. I'm looking because it seems to me that most students receive jobs faster when they have done an internship at some point throughout their college career. It seems to be a great way to get my foot in the door, build up my resume, and find a job in the long run. #internships #undergraduate #sociology #resume-writing #anthropology #intern #gerontology

What are some possible occupations that involve cultural preservation?

I recently graduated with a degree in Sociology/Anthropology (that's one major) and currently live in Japan. Living in Japan has given me many opportunities to visit sites of cultural and historical importance. I've always been fascinated by the history of each place and have thought of probably doing work related to preserving cultural sites and maybe even educating others about the sites. Any suggestions are welcome, and feel free to add more information and advice as well. Thank you! #sociology #history #anthropology #culture #world

Is it a good idea to go to a tech school to learn handy skills after graduating from your academic course?

I go to Montclair state, and I am learning things that are based on thinking and answering questions, but this does not override the importance of handy skills like a bit of carpentry or mechanics. Both types of understandings are important, and I have been contemplating on taking such courses after graduating. What worries me is the fall of hands-on work and the increase of desk and mental skills. Why not obtain both? #professor #professional #entrepreneurship #anthropology #non-profit #personal-development
