How does applying to college as a high school senior compare to applying to graduate school as an undergraduate?

Hi! I ask this question because as a highschool senior, I wonder how independent the graduate school application process truly is. I understand graduate students usually receive far less scholarships than highschool students, but are there ways around that? Also, did the application process feel about as long or longer than highschool-to-college applications? #highschool #applications #graduate-school #college-applications #college-admissions #college

What Can You Include in Your College Resume/ Essay to Set Yourself Apart

So I am wanting to apply to several colleges, with my aspiration being to enter Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Science to study entomology. The issue for me is that, though I have good grades, I will have over 1,500 hours of volunteer/intern experience working with animals/ insects, and am participating in a summer program this summer (the summer prior to my senior year) I am unsure of what else I can participate in to set myself apart further from other candidates. For further context, I am going to enter my senior year this summer so I have relatively limited time to add things on and live in central Georgia. Any information would be extremely helpful! #applications #internships #college #gpa #Cornell-University

Letters of Recommendation

I have just started my grad school application for Genetic Counseling but am not very confident regarding the 3 letters of recommendation I need to gather. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and my own social anxiety, I have had a hard time making any connections with professors. Classes have around 300 students so they have little to no memory of me. I've e-mailed the grad program about if letters of recommendations from my supervisor at work could be considered (currently an HR intern). I have also reached out to a professor I recently had last Spring. Is there anything else you would recommend for me to do?

Should I include my political volunteering in my applications and resumes?

I am an Executive Intern for the Young Republicans of Bexar County, and I do a lot of work for them as well. I was selected to be an intern despite only being in high school which is very honorable. However, with bias against conservatives on college campuses, will "liberal" colleges look down upon my work as an EI for the Young Republicans when they would commend the same work if I volunteered for the Young Democrats? Should I even include it on my resumes and applications? #politics #colleges #collegeapplication #applications #resume
