What should I become a planner, interior designer, or architect?
I'm in 8th grade and I have a passion for art, design, and creating spaces. Urban planning is the most interesting to me, but I'm not sure about the political side of it. Interior design also is fascinating, but I would if I'm not creative enough. Lastly, I love architecture but I am not the best at math and I wonder what daily work is like. Any other career ideas? I know I want to go into those kind of field areas. Perheaps a civil engineer? This is stressful..

I really like the idea of becoming an architect, but I am unsure whether or not it is a reliable or enjoyable career. If you could possibly share your experiences or a different career that is reliable. When I say reliable, I mean it will provide for me.

I am a graduating senior with a high interest in design. I love the arts specifically drawing, building and even fashion design. I do not have much experience with either careers but i do plan to explore it in College. I am not sure if the two careers are completely required or which road who be best to take. I was told that both careers are hard to get in to and it is even more difficult when there aren't many opportunities within the type of city I live in. I just started high school and I'm wondering if I study architecture in college, how hard is it going to be to get a job with just a bachelors degree. I like architecture because I like the idea of people living in something that you have made. I've wanted to be an architect since jr high school. For example, how many months will it take me to find a job? If it's too hard, maybe I would choose a minor that might give me a different career I could get a job in. #architecture #architect

I want to get a degree in architecture. Im not sure if architecture is the best route. I'm not sure exactly what an architect does. I like working with my hands. I like designing. I like problem solving. I was a carpenter for a year, and a mechanic before that. Im lost in the details. Drafting, designing and building all sound very appealing to me. I am eager to learn about architecture in College and hope that I will be able to practice it some day. I want to do architecture based building with homes and residential properties, but some people have said civil engineering is a better pathway to get to this although I have also heard that civil engineering can tend to be very boring and people end up building a lot of boring infrastructures like bridges, roads, and hangers.
