How to be a fashion designer and to have the creative mindset

So I love being creative all that, and I find myself being a fashion enthusiast with the knowledge I have on trends instead of a designer. I'm so overwhelmed that my lack of ability to draw will never get me into an art college, like I suck at drawing, I can picture an amazing outfit but can never draw it and I would love to have beautiful illustrations for college resumes. My question is how to learn more about basics or getting online classes or learning how to draw a jacket!, and knowing things like fabrics and phrases like; bell bottoms, or low v cut, off the shoulder. How to I get the creative mindset ?I like fashion but sometimes i have to force my self to draw and its hard to come up with something none has seen, i'm starting to learn tho that fashion could could look ugly but its special cause it has a story

Should I go to an art college?

Hello, I was wondering if you think it would be beneficial for me to go to an art college? As of right now, I am traditional artist, taking classes at community college, who has an interest in learning more about digital art because of the many opportunities available for people who can create art on a computerized format as opposed to the traditional pencil to paper approach. My only concern is that art colleges are expensive and I also wonder if they are really necessary for improving skills and knowledge because in this day and age the internet provides artists with nearly infinite amount of information about art related subjects. If you do, however, believe that attending art college would help my situation then what kind of art colleges would you recommend for someone who is interested in digital art and what kind of career fields would be open for that kind of an artist? I look forward to hearing your responses and thank you. #higher-education #artist #art-college #career-planning #digital-art #art-education #art-and-illustration #digital-artist

To go into graphic design, should I go to an art college, or a normal college that has a strong art program?

I am really interested in art, math, science, and computers, and I've been thinking about going into graphic design. I was wondering whether it's better to go to a college focused on art, or just one that has a strong art program. Also, would I want to put together a portfolio if I decided to go to a school that doesn't focus on art? #art #math #graphic-design #art-college
