What do I have to do to be successful in college? What would be the best course of action to take before college?

I'm in 11th. I like welding, blacksmithing, woodworking, and working on vehicles. I'm very literal. I am having second doubts about what I want to major in; I like working on technology, whether computers, coding, phones, or software. My dream college is Texas A & M, stationed out of college station.

How would I tend to get better at my art?

I am passionate about art and design, especially digital art and sketching on paper but I don't think that I am good at any of it. How would I get better at art or improve my skill? I also would like to be an animator. I love both of these art topics, how would I get started with that?

How do you become an animator and illustrator at the same time?

So, I read a Q&A from a professional Background (BG) Artist a few days ago. The BG said "a illustration skills don’t always translate to animation." So, it made me wonder more about the differences between the two fields. They're both art-based careers, yet there's some differences I don't know yet. (I mean...besides the fact that animation is about making still images come to life vs illustration just being still art). I know many animators are illustrators, but I don't know how they manage to do both. I may want to do both, too, in the future. Are there any differences in preparing to study for either career? What are some differences between learning illustration vs animation?

Animation industry

I stepped away from an art college because it was extremely overwhelming, it was super competitive and the workload left me in tons of panic attacks. I also couldn't afford the tuition. Its been awhile (cause of covid) and now im thinking of going back to community for two years to start my minor first and do my major at a 4 year at animation but im worried that i wont like the field as much as i admire it, i work a bit slower when it comes to art it brings out my best work and i want to learn more but a part of me if afraid. Does the animation industry have more cons than pros, will i enjoy working in a competitive field?

What path do I take for these careers?

Hello, I am torn between the career options I've narrowed for myself. I am interested in both being an Agent and business manager for artists, performers, and athletes and also becoming a marketing manager. I'm not sure which pathway I want to pursue because they are both interesting however, I truly love art and entertainment. I also want to have a job where I can dress up and marketing is appealing and very high demand for businesses. Anything will help I don't want to be overwhelmed but I truly can't decide.
