How Do We Take Pictures Of Our Band That Look Professional?
How would we go about taking pictures of our band, we want something professional that we can post to our social media accounts to get more interaction out of our audience, we don't know wether we should pay a photographer to take pictures of us, or if its something our buddies could do with their iPhone. We just need more engaging pictures, and something to show places we want to get gigs at.
What career(s) should I look into?
Hello, I'm Kylie. I'm currently a sophmore, and feel like I should start looking into careers. Though, I don't really know where to start. I do know what I do want in a job, just not very sure what jobs meet my needs. I would love some guidance on where to start! I know I am asking for a lot in a career, and those wants may not be very realistic. Please be honest with me if my dreams aren't very possible to achieve, or if I'm asking for too much. I won't get offended. -First, I love to design and problem-sovle. I'm the type of person that needs to be always doing someting. I would love to hop into a career that allows me to work on something new everyday. I do have experience when it comes to graphic design, photoshop, etc. But, I feel like I should be working on something more "physical," something that I can touch and feel. I love to work with computers and computer programs, but to be able to also work on something more traditional would be nice. Though, when it comes to designing, I do need to be able to have some creative liberty. I thrive when I'm able to work independently, I can work within a team though, and can take critisism and suggestions. I'm an over-achiever, and love to challenge myself, so much to the point where I could probably say it's an addiction of mine. I love to throw myself into tough situations, or dive into a challenging question, and find a way to overcome them. I'm happiest when I have my brain thinking, questioning, pondering. -Second, I would love to have a flexible schedule. I sadly get burntout very easily, and need time to "cleanse my mind" if that makes any sense. -Third, if it's possible- I would love to have a salary that allows me to live comfortably in Los Angeles. I know that's a lot to ask for, but it's my biggest dream. I was born in LA, my whole family's from LA, I would love to move back. -Fourth, I struggle when it comes to communicating, negotiating, etc. I'm autistic, and have had a stutter my whole life, so do what you will with that information. A job that allows me to talk to coustomers and such probably isn't the best for me. I do love talking to people though, I just suck at it. It's a skill i've been working on, and hope it's something I can master down the road. -Fifth, lastly- Here's some interests of mine that I know could defenitley make a career out of, though don't know if they match me or my values. I love the concept of transportation, as well as urban planning. I also love architecture. I do have some other interests, though nothing I can make a career out of. I'm sorry for it being so long! And asking for so much in a career. I guess I just want to have some image of what I could be or do in the future. I don't want to finish high school, without a clue of what I want to do next. That makes sense, right? Be as brutally honest as you need to :)

Should I give up my passion?
I have two passions only. Making Art and making Music. I am a graphic design student who is doing pretty well in college and juggling my Art and Music passions. I am pretty good at both of my passions. Lately someone told me that I should focus only on one passion. There are some youtube videos and articles that supports my situation and says that it's great thing two have two passions or even more and there are some youtube videos and articles that says that you should have only one passion and put all your focus on it. There is a kinda famous artist/musician called Jack Stauber who i stumbled upon lately who is juggling the same two passions of mine in addition to animation, sculpture, stop motion, many different musical instruments, singing, songwriting, and many more. he majored in Marketing . And there is also Caroline konstnar who is ballet dancer, artist, singer, comedian, actor, content creator. My question is should I give up on one of my passions and focus only on one, which is something that I don't wanna do. Or be like these two musician/artist examples and embrace my two passions through content creation by making music and making art for my music or making music and making animation for my music just like they do. Thank You

How do I get started as an illustrator/graphic designer?
Hi! I'm a lifelong artist currently recovering from my engineering day job and the toll it's taken on my mental health. (Mechanical Engineering grad, 2-ish years into my career). I've finally gotten to a point where I'm ready to take the plunge and look for a more creative career. I'm totally lost on where to go from there, though. I would absolutely love to illustrate books but I don't think I'm ready to fully shift to freelance work. What other career options should I explore that are similar but a little more stable? (And ideally include healthcare, lol) What programs/certifications should I prioritize? What should I include in my portfolio? Thanks in advance :) please feel free to leave any other advice you have for me!
