What career should I do in the fashion industry if I want to do a fashion line but I'm not a designer?

I want to have my own fashion line and influence fashion and be very known. I want to make it to the top of the industry. But, I'm not a designer. I'm not interested in designing, but how do I have my own fashion line without being a designer for it? And if possible any high school classes or AP classes that will prepare me for that? #fashion #fashion-design #apparel-and-fashion #artist #fashion-shows #styling #apparel #merchandising #designer #help #help

Why Design?

Hi! I just want to ask all of you designers out there, "why did you choose design?". Why did you choose it as a career path? I have always loved design but when a person asks me why I chose it, I seem to have the answer but it's stuck at the back of my mind. I am hoping to have some insights so maybe someone can take the words out of my mouth. Thank you! #design #career-path #designers #graphic-design #user-experience #artist

Am I too late to start a career in Concept Art?

Hello, I was recently let go from my job in the aviation industry due to the Covid-19 crisis. I am now 31 years old and currently looking for a different career path. I always had a passion for drawing and concept art in general, and I used to practice as a hobby but I never made a career out of it. Also, I never had any formal education on it. Could anyone working in this area help me to clarify some doubts? 1. Am I too late to start a career at 31 yo, particularly having no degree? 2. Do I need a university degree or a more technical course would suffice? 3. Given my age, would I be in disadvantage compared to younger people? I'm guessing this is a highly competitive area, and I would love some advice to help me decide if I should invest in it. Any help would be highly appreciated! Thank you and regards, Rodolfo #art #career #artist #conceptart #videogames #digitalpainting #drawing

What do you have to do to become a comic book artist

Hello I am in 9th grade and I am just beginning to explore my future careers. A career I've always wanted to follow for a long time is to become a comic book artist. Ever since I was little I've always loved and appreciated super hero movies and tv shows with also the comic books that they were based off of (along with the art in it). And for as long as I can remember I loved to draw my favorite characters from said comics/movies/shows. So through out my life I've idolized many comic artists such as John Romita Jr, Steve Ditko, Mark Bagley, Humberto Ramos and even creators such as Stan Lee. So as I'm improving my art skills and now in high school I now need to thing about my future and what's better than bringing that same love and spark I had as a kid to many more people. And now I ask that of what it takes to become an comic artist, what skills I need, what school I need to go to, and type of education I need, thank you for your time reading this. #artist #art #comics #Marvel #DC #artists
