How to enter into Fintech Industry?
I want to find a FinTech position, in which I can come in entry level and make more than I make at my current job. I currently work for the gov, doing general tax related work and speaking to customers. I want something Fintech related and back office, meaning no direct contact with customers. I know pretty much what I like and dislike- but struggle to find something that fit me. I love painting- yet I don't really want to be an artist for living. I crave for academia life, and so everybody around me push me to be an architect. But I am not really sure if it's for me. I am a 16-year-old Korean who dropped out of high school and took the high school graduation test. I want to start a beverage business in the future. I want to do business in the U.S. or abroad, not here in Korea. I am currently wondering which college major I should choose. Should I go to business administration or chemistry? I don't know if I should go to college or go to art school because I'm interested in graphic design. I would appreciate it if you could give me great advice. Also, what should a Korean do to start a business in the U.S. or other foreign countries? I want to study in the U.S., but my family is an ordinary middle-class family. American tuition is too expensive
Where should I start after esthetician school?
Towards the end of this school year I plan to go to esthetician school and get my license. It's not something I want my life to evolve around, but I've always wanted to do it. I like to think it would be a great side/backup job. The only problem is I don't know what I would do after especially since there's not really anyone I know in that field.
How important is finding a backup plan if you already have a solid and realistic plan?
