How do you choose a career you will love?
I’m a 9th grader and am having trouble thinking about what career to choose, my parents kept telling me to start thinking about it but I don’t know. They are all in the medical field and want me to do the same as it is a respected job and it makes a lot of money. But I do not know if I want to do that plus what if I change my mind or am just not happy with my job I will be stuck with it because I have already done everything for it, it’s also very hard and competitive. What steps can you take to decide what career to choose? How can you choose what makes you happy and makes you have a stable career? How do you deal with pressure from parents to choose a specific career? Why do people change their career mid-way?
Requirements for architecture or civil engineering?
I’m currently a sophomore in high school, and I’m trying to get a head start in terms of my career in civil or a architecture. I’ve been doing sculpting for 5 years now, but I’ve been told that drawing is also a very important skill. Will sculpting do anything for me in this field? Should I focus more on drawing and developing a portfolio?

I have an AS Degree in Physical Science from a community college in Fall 2021. I don't have enough lab experience due to 2020-2022 shutdown. I have been working from home for a company involving data entry from 2021 to now. I am not sure what other career to look into as I am not the same person that wanted a Bachelor's degree due to finances. I am not sure if I should look into 3-12 month programs of a certificate as I don't have experience.

Are there any careers that would allow me to pursue nuclear engineering AND musical theater ?
My current goal is to double major in those two subjects at University of Michigan (hopefully with a scholarship, as it's out of state and EXPENSIVE), but from what I've found, it's practically impossible to find a way to do them both "in the real world" I don't want to look back and regret not doing theater, but I know it's not the most practical career. I'm not the best at nuclear science or engineering, but I have time to improve my skills. Is there anything out there for me (that pays well, LOL)?
