What should I do to get into event planning?
I am interested in event planning and would love to work for companies that makes people dreams come to life. I am a visual learner and so I like to sketch up the backdrop I am going to do and research ways to make it come to life. However, it been a challenge trying to find jobs that are willingly to open up.
What are some possible career avenues if I am interested in both computer science and public policy??
I've been passionate about both CS and policy for some time, and would like to eventually choose a career that allows me to work in both fields. Are there any careers or college majors that fit both these criteria, which will allow me to pursue both fields? Thanks!
How to find a career?
How do you begin to find a career after or before graduating? How do you even find something you may want to do for a long time? What if my degree doesn't line up with what I ultimately do?
What are some important experiences or lessons you've learned from your own careers that could be helpful for others to know?
What specific skills or knowledge have those experiences taught you? Have they shaped you into the person you are today, and how? This can be a wide range of experiences/lessons such as learning how to balance work and life or how to overcome setbacks. I am currently planning on going into the medical field, and I would like to know your own valuable lessons that you've gained throughout your life/career to help guide me through my career path.
What are the best ways to get into the amusement/ entertainment industry?
I've always had an interest in working with amusement/theme parks like Disney, Cedar Point, and Six Flags. I would love to be able to give my ideas an input on how we could always reimagine the parks and keep business afloat. If anyone has any ideas on how I can reach this goal I'd be a open to them.
