How can I start a passion project of the medical field I want to peruse?
I am a freshman and I want to start creating a passion project, but i don't know how? I have an idea: Crafting Health Toolkit Initiative Project Concept: Develop a comprehensive toolkit that includes physical items made through crochet and arts & crafts, and digital resources for children's health and wellness. 'Bake for Health' Educational Series Project Concept: A series of workshops and online content that uses baking to teach scientific and health-related concepts. but I need a step by step plan on how to do this and make a difference in my community. Also I’m a freshman so I might not have the resources to do this! But I'm open for help and tips/websites to complete these tasks of mine.

Is kinesiology or child development better for a high school student looking into medicine?
I'm selecting my 9th grade classes. I have no idea if other schools do this, but we have to create a "career plan" and select classes for all four years of high school. Between the classes of kinesiology (my high school's course catalog defines it as studying the effects of exercise on the body and studying skeletal, muscular, and neural movements) and child development (working with and talking to young children, earning CPR and first aid qualifications along the way), which is better if I would like to become a premed student in college? I specifically am interested in orthopedics or becoming a surgeon.

Is becoming a pediatrician worth it if you want to have a balanced work and social life? ?
I'm currently a sophomore in high school and interested in becoming a pediatrician. I'm worried if I follow this path, I won't have time to spend with my family. What are the career paths for people interested in Children's Rights?
I am NOT interested in being a social worker. I'm actually interested in completely revamping the child welfare system. I don't agree with the current standards of social work. I am more interested in national work such as with UNICEF USA or working with the United Nations or being a national children's rights lobbyist. I'm just not sure where to start. I also have an interest in law but I'm not entirely sure I see myself as a lawyer. I would definitely work as an amicus lawyer but I'm not sure the family law field is ready for me to be able to focus on children's rights specifically.

What would be an ideal career for someone who wants to work with disabled children but has a low patience?
I would love to one day be able to help and communicate with disabled kids, such as a pediatric occupational therapist or something similar, but I tend to loose patience without meaning to. I am afraid that a career path such as pediatric OT is maybe a little too social for someone like me, and in that case, is there any similar careers that would allow me to still help and be part of their lives, but perhaps in a more bystander-like position?
What psychology related jobs are there that can work in the hospital and with children?
I am 16 and currently a junior in high school. I have always wanted to do something that involves kids, and mental health. I have been doing a lot of research on different jobs and I don't know what I should do. I would like to work as someone who advocates in mental health (preferably psychology) and I would also like to work in a hospital setting. That being said, I don't know how many other jobs there are for psychology in a hospital other than ones that work at inpatients. I do want to go into psychology, and I don't exactly know where to start. Should I look at community colleges or find one that works more towards that career path? #psychology #career #children #hospital
