Why do most college students feel singled out?
Most college students feel singled out because they either feel lost or out of place amongst other students around campus or even in the classroom. One tip that can help is making friends around campus or even joining a club to feel apart of something in order to connect with others around you. It may seem difficult at first but can always start small by making a simple introduction anywhere with someone that looks friendly.

Does it really matter where you go to college?
I plan to major in piano and voice performance with a minor in psychology, and then start private music lessons. Does it matter where I go to college, or should I try to get into one that is more prestigious in the realm of music performance? I kind of want to go to a Christian college that is closer to home, but obviously they aren't really known for music performance so I'm just wondering what I should do.

I don't know what to do in college?
I am a 16-year-old Korean who dropped out of high school and took the high school graduation test. I want to start a beverage business in the future. I want to do business in the U.S. or abroad, not here in Korea. I am currently wondering which college major I should choose. Should I go to business administration or chemistry? I don't know if I should go to college or go to art school because I'm interested in graphic design. I would appreciate it if you could give me great advice. Also, what should a Korean do to start a business in the U.S. or other foreign countries? I want to study in the U.S., but my family is an ordinary middle-class family. American tuition is too expensive

High School Summer programs in NJ?
Hi! I applied to a few but not many popular summer programs for high schoolers and didn't match with most of them. Now I'm freaking out over not having much to do over the summer especially since its before my junior year. Ive been looking for summer programs or internships for juniors in high schools for so many hours lately but all the deadlines have passed! Im really upset and stressed over this situation and if knows of any programs with deadlines still open such as research ones at Rutgers or at other neighboring areas such as Newark or internships please let me know. I greatly need your guys help. Thank you so much
Is a minor in Information Systems or Data Science better?
I am currently pursuing a Business Administration degree and am interested in marketing, social media, and design, but I also want to minor in something that will allow me to gain more skills and job opportunities. Should I major in information systems/ data science with a minor in marketing or the other way around? Which will allow me to have access to a bigger range of jobs that are in demand.

Which university should I go to? NC state at Raleigh or Cal State, Long Beach?
I'm a international student from Iran and I have been accepted to both NCSU and CSULB and I can't decide which one I should attend :) Cal state is ranked 105 while NC state is 60 among Value schools. Cal state is a lot cheaper though and they offer scholarship for international students after their first semester but NC state doesn't offer many scholarships for international students and I didn't get scholarship anyway :) They both have a good On-Campus employment and also, I know I can be around a well Iranian community in Long Beach. I love Cal state's campus a lot better but NC state offers a very good program in engineering, which is the field I want to study. I'm planning to do double major in engineering and industrial design if I go to CSULB, engineering and politics if I go to NC state. Do you think it worth to sacrifice the prestige and ranking stuff of NC state to go to Long Beach? I feel like my heart is mostly towards Long Beach due to the nice environment and the decent cost; but my mind is more towards NC state as its ranking is better (It's a lot more expensive though). Oh and the last thing, I'm thinking of doing an exchange semester or year in Europe! I will appreciate your honest thoughts and possible experiences :) Thank you for your time to read! :)
