Industry Accountants - how much did you have to remember from school?
Hi, I am a junior in college currently majoring in accounting and I plan on working in industry. I worry a lot as graduation comes closer because I haven’t really retained things and even if I brush up on the basics it’s not like I’ll be a professional and know how to do an entry for everything. I wanted to ask those in industry what was your first job like when you finished university and how much was expected for you to have retained from school? Did they ask technical questions in your interview? Also which are best industries to work for that won’t stress you so much.

How can a junior business student get a naturopathy internship?
As a 21-year-old business student, I've developed a newfound passion for holistic medicine, particularly in helping people feel and look their best through natural approaches. Despite initially pursuing a business major to satisfy my father's wishes for me to become a lawyer with a business degree, I now realize that my true calling lies elsewhere. Inspired by the challenges of COVID-19, I am eager to explore internships in naturopathy to gain hands-on experience and guidance from professionals in the field. With my analytical skills and determination, I'm committed to transitioning from business to holistic medicine and making a positive impact on people's lives. Please advise thank you so much.

Research mentor outside of high school ?
Is there a website or any way I can find a mentor for an independent research? My high school is not an option anymore since I am already a graduate, and I also don’t have enough resources and not even a budget to be spending on this.
Can I work on independent research while not being a high school student?
My country’s academic system is different than the US. So, I have already graduated and I’m 18 still not in university, but I really want to do an independent research project and try to get it published somewhere. Is it possible or legitimate for me to do it on my own without teachers or help and use this project as an activity for my college application? It’s actually a passion project and not to make my application look good, however, I have seen that most of these are done with mentors and such and I don’t have one available and I am unsure on where and how I could find one. I wouldn’t need a lab because it’s for a psychology social research, I would just need people to answer a few questions I would formulate on a form and I would go from there.

What are any recommendations for young artists trying to make a profit?
Hi everyone! I am a 19 yr old female college student. I want to be able to profit off my art but don’t know where or how to start. I feel quite unfulfilled with my life and the fields I’m going towards in college. I have recently undergone a lot of personal growth and am a bit stuck because I realized I do not want to do any of the things I am starting to study. I am a multi faceted realism painter& drawer, i crochet, sew, make jewelry through wire wrapping and other methods, i write & illustrate poetry, and am deeply involved with nature. I know a lot about energy and quantum energy healing techniques. I’m in the works of becoming a healer for people because I want to share what helps me. I love helping people and I’m great with kids but I want to pursue something that also involves art and is outside of public education. I have been looking to get into seasonal jobs but would need a campground or housing provided. I am planning on getting on the road as well to travel full time because I am very into art and music fairs. I am a Renaissance Faire avid go-er and hopefully will get a job tracking. I know how little it pays, and I know how unpredictable it is. I have experience in the outdoors with camping and experienced homelessness multiple times throughout childhood and am not worried about that at all. I don’t want a lot of money in life and I am purely looking for inner peace. I have no idea how to kickstart a profit my art because I’ve been trying for years, lol. Any advice or recommendations are deeply appreciated! I am on the autism spectrum & have ADHD. I am very high functioning but i really struggle in succeeding in areas I’m not passionate about. I’m super broke and grew up with no wealth in my family and am deeply struggling with balancing finances. Positivity only welcomed here!! Thank you 🌿
