Is it possible to shadow a flight attendant as a high school student?

I'm currently a sophomore in high school. At my school, sophomores are encouraged to complete a job shadow for the career/job they're most interested in. I've always wanted to be a flight attendant, but I can't see how it would be possible to shadow one. Are there any job shadowing opportunities for students who want to be flight attendants? If not, are there any alternatives, like an internship or attending a training session?

Is it true that there is going to be or is a shortage of pilots?

I keep hearing from family, friends, etc that there is going to be or is a shortage of commercial pilots, just wondering if the demand is actually as severe as the truth. #aviation #commercial-aviation

What electives should I take if I want to be a commercial pilot for a big company like Delta, AA, etc. somewhere in the future?

I am in 8th grade and I want to be a commercial pilot. My choice for electives are coming up and I want some advice from someone on which electives I should take. At the moment, I am in the level 1 (advanced) classes for both English and Algebra 1. I will be taking Geometry Honors next year as well as English. I am wondering if I should. Bother going honors in biology and world history to make time for more math and computers (CP1). Is keeping a good GPA important in this field? Bridgewater State seems like a good college to go to near me (any recommendations for that?) so that I can get my pilots license. Also, are there any other classes I should take, whether extracurricular or not. Would being a pilot (not a fighter/bomber) in the Air Force be worth the time to get a good job? Thanks! If you have any questions please ask me! P.S. I looked on faa.gov and medically, it seems I qualify for the job. #air-force #anyone #commercial-pilot #airplane #commercial-aviation #aircraft-maintenance #airline-pilot #airplane-pilot

How path should i take to work in the aviation profession?

I applied to a couple military academies, didn't get accepted. I got accepted at a few collges however financially my family cant afford it right now, so I'm enrolling into a community college majoring in mechanical engineering and will transfer to a four year college. Ive participated in several aviation youth programs, camps, and have flown a Cessna. Have taken FAA exam and missed by 3pts. I would love to be a pilot or aviation engineer. Thanks #engineer #aviation #pilot #military-pilot #commercial-aviation

For any commercial pilots, what is one piece of advice you would give to a young pilot?

I'm 16 and am very close to my first solo flight and I plan to have my private pilot's certificate by the end of this year. I want to eventually become a commercial pilot, and I'm having a tough time deciding where I should go to college and what I should major in to make this possible. Any advice is welcome. #college #aviation #airline-industry #pilot #flying #commercial-aviation
