I come from a small town in the middle of no where and I am constantly being told that I have to expand my vision of where I want to attain a job in this position. I have graduated high school in 2015, but have struggled to get into the trades of my choice. I want to know what you did in order to get into your trade, as well as any advice that you could give if you were to do anything differently. Also, just to specify further, I am interested in two specific trades. Carpentry and Computer Hardware Engineering.

For a class in high school, I have to research a career that I'm interested in and I thought that it would be a good time for me to find out more about computer hardware engineering, the career I'm interested in. So most of these answers I can find on the internet but I think it would be more beneficial if I could get answers from someone in that career path since it would be more detailed: 1. An overview of the career. What do you do on a daily basis? Is it repetitive or stressful? 2. Where do you work most of the time? Like do you usually work in an office or do you even take trips even. 3. How long do you work in a day? Week? Is it more demanding during holidays? 4.
