How to improve my CV as a computer Engineering student?
I'm a third year engineering student, and I studied different courses like (java, data structure, networking, mobile apps, AI, micro, electronics, and other topics ), but the issue is that when I want to apply for an internship or a research program especially internationally I have nothing to support my CV or personal statement just the projects I did in these courses which are not complex and my high GPA. Also, I always study online courses and try to improve my skills, but now at this time I feel it's not enough, so what kind of programs or activities should I participate in to improve ? #computer-engineering #computer-software #computer-hardware #artificial-intelligence #career-counseling #career-development #career-path #career-choice #engineering #programming #computer-programming #computer-networking

How much computer science experience do I need before I decide to major in that in college?
I want to major in computer science because I think it's a really cool subject and I want to learn more, but I feel like I don't have as much experience as everyone else who majors in that. I'm in AP computer science right now and I'm getting it as I go along, but everyone else in the class is catching on so much quicker because they've been programming for a long time. I don't want to be behind in the game, so I'm not sure if it's the right major for me since others are naturally better at it, but at the same time I like it and want to study it. #computer-science #computer-software #technology #computer-programming #computer-games #computer-hardware #computer-networking #computer-security

I was originally planning on going into Computer Science, but I heard from a few teachers and students that there won't be a high demand for it because so many students are going into that field now. What does a computer engineer do?
For a class in high school, I have to research a career that I'm interested in and I thought that it would be a good time for me to find out more about computer hardware engineering, the career I'm interested in. So most of these answers I can find on the internet but I think it would be more beneficial if I could get answers from someone in that career path since it would be more detailed: 1. An overview of the career. What do you do on a daily basis? Is it repetitive or stressful? 2. Where do you work most of the time? Like do you usually work in an office or do you even take trips even. 3. How long do you work in a day? Week? Is it more demanding during holidays? 4. Your earnings and maybe some benefits if there are any 5. What kind of companies do you work for? Is this job in high demand? That's basically it. Even if you can only answer one of these questions, feel free to comment, every bit helps. Also if there are any interesting facts or maybe even experiences you've had during the job, I would love to hear them. Thanks! #engineering #computer-hardware
