I am just learning to program in high school, but I am already learning HTML and CSS and Javascript. What should my next programming language be? I am going to go to college and I would like to start learning my next language now so I can be ahead of things for college. What is Scrum and what is Agile?

I have a very basic understanding of what Agile is. I read over the Agile manifesto but I am still having a hard time fully understanding how it fits into software development. I have no real idea what Scrum or being a "Scrum Master" means. Ive heard the terms used before when referring to the development of a software product, but I cant visualize the actual objective of the role. Can anyone expand on these terms?

If I don't know as much as my high school peers about tech, will I be behind in college?

The high school I currently attend doesn't have tech classes that delve into the topics of cyber security (or what cyber even is, for that matter), computer programming, or the basic fundamentals of how computers are built. Over the summer, I was chosen as a participant for the GenCyber Program at Norwich University, where I learned things that fellow participants knew but I was hearing of for the first time.. does this mean I'm behind? #computer-science #computer-programming #computer-security #cyber
