Many people say that they change their majors multiple times. And there are other people that say they changed their career many times (the national average is 5 different careers per person). But how do you know which one is the one for you? Is there a way that it will appear as the best career for you? #confused #undecided
Everyone says I have so much potential to do serious jobs (e.g lawyer) so I need help from you.
As I am always top of class and like learning new things, my family says I’d be good for serious jobs like being a lawyer that will get me lots of money. I agree with them as top paid jobs are in this field. But at the same time, I want to be a dancer, actress and a model for my passions . whereas law gives a guaranteed rich life, which is what really want. How do I decide what I want to do all my life?
I've always had several different interests that don't relate to one another necessarily. I'm interested in writing, music, psychology, dermatology, being a public figure, acting, and art, among several other things. The thing is, I don't like one any more than another. Doing all at the same time is what would make me most happy, but I'm unsure of how to go about that. Also, in terms of schooling it seems impractical, especially when it comes to money. I want to pursue a career with animals. Help?
For all my life I wanted to work with animals. However I don't know exactly what to do in it. Sometimes I wanted to be a host on an animal show just like Steve Irwin or Coyote Peterson. Double Major in Psychology & Nutrition?
So, I’m a senior in college & I’m now questioning all of my life decisions. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE psychology. But I’m just now realizing throughout the years I’ve always had such a strong passion for nutrition & I don’t know what to do. My original plan was to go to grad school & get my masters in school psychology. I’m now realizing that that’s something I just don’t want to do anymore. If I could just start over & get a bachelors degree is nutrition & dietetics & becomes a nutritionist I 100% would. But now I feel like it’s way too late to do anything about it and I should just finish my psychology undergrad degree and apply for graduate school even though I don’t think I will get in nor do I truly want to do it. What would my possibilities be if I got a bachelor’s degree in psychology and nutrition? My parents are so set on me going to grad school that before I mention anything to them I need to have a set plan. How do I pick just one career path?
Hi, I honestly have no idea what career would be best for me. One I could succeed in, I want to be a nurse but at the same time a photographer and a writer. I do write stories because I have a lot of ideas in my head, and photography my dad got me into that and I love it. I am only in high school right now and got two years to think about it, but it will go by so fast. Also, not comfortable with asking the counselor because it feels like they judge more that helping.

I am 17, I am a junior at Rock hill high school, I just recently moved here and practically just started fresh. I am not even quite sure what I want to do as far as after I get out of high school. I already have a job but that's really not a career. so long story short is what are some things I should look at? here in rock hill their is so just so much more, I came from a small town so we didn't really have this many choices. my main thing I want out of life is to be successful and get that bread. chase after the people and things I want in my life. kind be able to be my own author as far as picturing my life.
