Which is the best way to cope with feeling "stuck" in the career/job that you are in?

I am asking this question because I have the constant thought of possibly being contained with a low-paying job and clinging to the finances of my parents for the rest of my life, which I desperately want to avoid, as does every soon-to-be adult. Some family members say that they are not happy at their job but are able to have decent lives and not look too stressed. If I had to stay at a middle quality job, I would like to know the best way to avoid feeling hopeless. #professor #interviews #counselor #therapy #manager #director #life-coach #statistics

Would it be rude to tell my teacher to stop smoking, if not, how can I put it as gently as possible?

She is an amazing teacher who knows a great deal. She has control of the class and makes learning effective but her breath and classroom smells of cigarettes and coffee. For her well being I want her to stop smoking and in turn help me and my classmates learn better without worrying about second hand smoking. Just to clarify, she doesn't smoke in class, she takes breaks to smoke and the stench attaches itself to her and dissipates in the room. It bothers my classmates and I, taking away from our learning in our STEM class. Is it wrong to ask this of her, or am I doing the right thing? #morality #education #education-management #student #school-counseling #counselor

Is there a job that combines a nurse practitioner and a counselor?

I'm a junior in high school, and I'm torn between general medicine and psychology. What Career would I pursue if I double major in English and Chicano studies?

I love to write so I figured to major in English. I want to be a writer but also somewhat of an activist that awakens awareness in society about a plethora of issues/topics. Chicano studies is a major/minor that got my attention. It provides insight on latino/Mexican culture.I figured that since the U.S population is growing and it's Latinos(not just Mexicans) that are here in this country I feel that those two majors would come in hand and I feel I will love what I do . #journalism #english #counselor #activist #chicano-studies

What is the best idea to take if your dream for the future is not as practical or resourceful as you once believed?

I am asking this question because many people tell me that I may be overthinking the results of my post-secondary choices. I hope to create an inspiring cartoon that will capture attention and or possibly turn it into a film. However, I realize that I may not animation as much as I like the thought of my ideas being on television. I would like to earn my income in a way that involves productivity and results that can help others directly as well. #business #teacher #student #graduate #counselor #job-coaching #mentoring #parent
