I am a first year at Sjsu and want to go into law school later on. I want to do internships but I don’t know where to start. I am interested in med-peds but I also want to do research. I have read that med-peds physicians usually choose one specialty over the other in their practice, and that those who do both are usually hospitalists. Can anyone talk about med-peds physicians being researchers while practicing both specialties? Obviously, more time would be spent on research but is it doable?
