What's the best major for marketing?
What's the best undergrad major for someone who wants to be in a marketing managerial position eventually, whilst simultaneously having a plan B? Marketing, finance, or other? I've heard that marketing is not the major that it used to be, and most people advice me to align with the marketing path, but with an entirely different business degree since marketing is 'useless' and doesn't provide the necessary skills for working in the field. My initial plan was to major in marketing and attend a state university for 4 years while working an internship and networking, followed by eventually getting a job and working on an MBA, as well as certifications. Is this a good idea, or am I way off?

What is it like transitioning from a school environment to the workplace, and potentially the other way around?
I am asking this question because I am always thinking about my future and life after college. The future excites me because I am working hard to ensure I have ample opportunities after graduation. Business school is one of my top goals. So, what is it like going from college to employment? And for those who went to graduate school (MBA), what was it like going from the workplace back to school? I am interested in this topic because all I have ever really known is the schooling environment. #college #school #graduate #degree #mba #executive #ma #ms
What degrees do you need to become a therapist?
I recently realized that despite my awkwardness and unwillingness to talk to strangers, I somehow clique well with kids and those have been abused. I have thought about having #therapy as a backup plan, but I don't know what #degree/s you have to have. Is it just #psychology ? I do not want to be a psychiatrist, so I wouldn't need anything medical. But as with my previous question, I don't know whether or not this #profession would make me feel safe or not. I feel like the community is kind of bigoted towards the #lgbtqa+ community as well as those who actually have disorders? Is it weird for a therapist to have a therapist or would that just help them relate more to their clients?

Is it better to do your undergrad in mechanical engineering and for grad school, focus on the actual career?
Hello, I am currently a junior and I am preparing for my major and the college that I want to be enrolled in. I am interested in being a part of STEM however I am not sure what I want to do exactly. Some of my career interests include aerospace, biotech, biomedical, nuclear engineer, robotics, genetic engineering, forensic science or criminal justice, and cyber security. I am also planning on double majoring as an economic + STEM. However, since I am not sure what I want to do as a career choice and want to be able to live as confortably as possible, I am planning on getting a degree that is worth my time and money. So, I am currently thinking of majoring in mechanical engineering for my bachelor´s and do my career option for my master´s. Is this a good idea for me or should I only do my associates in mechanical and then focus on my career goals in STEM?
