What degree would suit my needs best between business and something in the arts?
I'm a multiple business owner at just 20 years old but still in the early stages with both of them. One is a photography business and the other is a online media website and I write the bulk of the content on the site. I have intensions of opening a skincare business in the near future as well as a partnering fashion label. My education background is consistent with the arts and business. i have certificates from top Uni's such as Harvard and UC Davis in Business fields as well as a pre degree diploma in art from UAL in London. But I'm yet to get an undergrad degree because A) Affordability, B) Undecided on what degree suits me best, C) unsure which degree will actually add more value to my career paths and D) When I was younger, I didn't do so great in school and I have pretty average grades despite all the further education I now have. I've been offered a place at LSE in London on a business management course and I know I should be excited about that but I'm not because my gut is telling me that it's not right for me. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks #business #art #undergraduate #degree

What the key differences between undergraduate and graduate school?
I'm a current undergraduate student who will be graduating in the spring (if things go according to plan), and while graduate school wasn't originally part of my plan, it's something I've begun considering. I've found that there seems to be less advice out there regarding grad school as opposed to undergrad, possibly because graduate school varies a lot more depending on which field you're planning on going into. For reference, I'm considering pursuing a Master's in Higher Education, so I'm wondering what to expect from graduate school. Is it more hands-on than undergrad? Did you feel that it was more demanding because you had to balance studies with an assistantship or something like that? #school #college #schools #colleges #graduate-school #graduate-schools #university #universities #undergraduate #graduate #undergraduates #graduates #advice #college-advice #experience #experiences #future #masters-degree #degrees #degree #higher-education #education #july #july20 #scholarship
How influential is your dissertation or degree emphasis on your career employment?
I am about to start a doctoral program in clinical psychology. Everyone is telling me that an emphasis and dissertation focus on military veterans, can lead to a better practicum and internship placement with the VA, which apparently is on the higher earning spectrum in terms of clinical psychology careers. Can someone still get employed in this position if they put their dissertation and degree emphasis on a different topic? #clinicalpsychology #career #degree #dissertation #doctorate #doctoral #employmet #JULY20 #psychology

Is university degree really necessary?
Hello, I've been wondering since I started university if it's vital for our life in the future or not. For example for me neither I finish or not I'm still getting a job because I have experience as car mechanic. I remember before starting 3 workshops wanted me to join their company (not boasting). I mean I felt so amazing to hear that and even in the thoughts. But I rejected all of them because of university. My question is if it is really worth the time. I'm halfway my second year and to be honest I had the greatest time of my life by going out with friends, having good times and making long lasting memories that I still now think of, going for cycling and hiking and the best part returning back to your own home. It's a great experience if you are good financially. However, I'm a mediocre student. I'm afraid of the time. We're talking about 4 years. I could work instead and make money and gain even more experience. To sum up, it is worth? What's your opinion upon your experience and thoughts? Thank you! PS: I study Aircraft Engineering and live in the EU. Since most people are from USA I want to inform you that colleges don't have tuitions. They are free in Greece and some other countries in the EU. I only pay for rents, food and commuting. Also, it's a major I don't like so much. I pursue it for its salary only. #university #college #degree #career #college-advice #job
