What will be the best way to determine what major I would focus on for graduation if I graduate with an undergraduate degree in sociology ?

I am interested in leading a career in academic advising. I have been studying sociology for my undergrad as I knew it was a broad major, but now I am concerned that it will not be enough. I want to do graduate school since I want to do academic advising eventually. This way, I can focus on my career path directly.

Should I go for a APICS cert before I graduate?

Hello all, I am currently in my senior year pursuing a BS in SCM. I have been rejected from multiple internships and I’m wondering if it’s because I am not at a top school for SCM. To help me out with job prospects once I graduate, I’m thinking of paying for the ASCM CSCP cert and begin working on it now, so I can have it done by the time I graduate. Is this a good idea? Will it help my job prospects or will my degree be enough? I want to graduate and hit the ground running!

Is a Business Major a good fit?

Hi, I am a junior in High school looking at graduating with an Associate's and hoping to nail down a major. I previously thought about psychology or creative writing but they don't feel like the right fit. I really enjoy writing and want to find a job I can be creative with. I also want a challenge, and something with a changing work pace that keeps me engaged. I was looking at creative directing but I know that is an end game career. What jobs would allow me to pitch ideas, work on projects, or allow me to make ideas into a reality? At the same time I am hoping those projects wouldn't be only numbers on a screen. With this in mind, would business fit? If so, any ideas? I am finding it hard to narrow down any careers. Thank you.

How important was making a high paying salary to your career choice and why?

I am interested in ranching, automotive technician or farm equipment technician. More questions: - Do you feel you made the correct career choice right away? Do you have any regrets? Would’ve you done anything differently? - Did you live in the dorms or off campus? What are the pros and cons of those choices? - How many times did you switch your major before you chose one? - What field did you go into and were you able to find a job right away? - How big of a student loan did you have to take out? How did you pay for college?

I don't know what I currently want to go to college for but I want to do something outdoors or something with my hands. -Which college/university did you attend, private or public? Was it a good fit for you? -Did you actually use your degree for the career you are currently pursuing. (What is your degree?) -How many credits did you take each semester? -If there is something you would go back and change, what would it be? -Why did you choose to attend the school you went to?
