How can I decide whether to transition to elementary teaching from the mental health counseling profession?
For as long as I can remember, I have gone back and forth between the two careers. I even have master's degrees in both fields, so I am technically qualified to do either. I have only ever worked in the mental health field though. I never really made the jump to being an elementary teacher. I have made pros and cons lists. I have thought about the differences in lifestyles. I ruminate over this regularly and it gives me a lot of anxiety. In my current job as a mental health therapist and own my own private practice, I can make my own hours, work as much or as little as I want and the pay is decent. My practice is telehealth only and I work from home. However, I am extremely lonely and really miss the camaraderie I experienced when I did my student teaching. Through my experience in student teaching and a short stint at a daycare after graduating with my Bachelor's in 2015, I really enjoyed the ability to be creative, come up with lesson plans and crafts/activities. Summer's off would be really great as well. I thought it was fun, whereas I would not say my current job is 'fun.' It's intellectually stimulating, but not fun. Oddly enough, I think the more structured schedule of a full-time job as a teacher may also be better for me mentally. I also know there are downsides to teaching, such as limited opportunity for advancement, difficult parents, difficult students, issues with administration, and the pay isn't great. Another kicker - I am currently 5 months pregnant, so I know I can't make any changes right now, and I also know I may feel differently about all of this once I have the baby. I am also concerned that since I completed my education degree and student teaching three years ago, I don't know who will write my letters of recommendations if I do decide to switch to teaching and apply for jobs. Any insight from someone who has made the switch from mental health counseling to teaching or from teaching to mental health counseling is helpful. Any insight that I might be missing about the field of education from teachers would also be helpful.

youtube or coursera , what is the best to learning ?
I want to shift course but I have many things/factors to consider. What should I do ?
I am currently a first-year, taking Bachelor of Elementary Education but lately I feel burned out with this course plus considering the surrounding within my course which is so toxic, and honestly I don't think teaching is something that I am passionate about. Now I've been thinking of shifting course into BA COMMUNICATION because I am really invested with everything happening to the world, I want to work anything related to broadcast or media industry, I want to enhance my skills with anything related to this course, and it was also my jhs dream so I think this course will be aligned to the career path I want to take. But unfortunately, didn't continued pursuing it due to my mom's influence because she said that BA COMM is so hard to pursue and it will too hard for me which scared the hell out of me (and I regret being influenced with this kind of reason hadsjkajd) Well, I tried the course she suggested which is this course, but meh...I no longer see myself continuing this. Now, searching upon the things I have to question myself before deciding to shifting course, I am kinda hesitating now and I don't now why. And I have things to consider now such as the tuition fee. Since my current tuition fee is around 10k per semester only due to the fact that my institution have this kind of scholarship exclusively for education courses only where they'll lower the actual tuition fee from 30k per sem to 10k if you're a freshie or regular student. But at the same time, I feel like I am just wasting my time here with this course. Although my institution have this kind of scholarship, our course isn't their priority that's why I don't think I am gaining the education I need to have because I no longer see myself learning. And I have these questions in mind also about the things I need to expect once I decided to shift course. Do you think that I need more time to think about shifting my course? And when do you think is the time to decide that it's time to shift course? Will it be hard for me to be an irregular student and to catch up? Should I go to what my heart really desires or should I choose practicality (continue pursuing my current course)? Need your thoughts for this hehehe. Thankies in advance!

What career path should i choose to gain credibility in the field of performing arts and arts education?
I currently work at a private performing arts academy as a dance teacher and head of the academic department. I am in charge of creating curricula for the program and supervising the production team to give artistic input in departments such as scenography. I first started as a student in 2019 and then became part of the teaching team in 2020 due to my advanced dance knowledge (I have been dancing professionally for over 10 years), my experience as a dance assistant in the past and the lack of dance teachers at the academy back then. Since then, I have worked my way up the ranks and now have this good position I mentioned at the beginning. However, I don't have a degree in anything, I have been guided, directed and instructed by the director of the academy and she has helped me develop my leadership skills and helped me get to where I am now. I have discovered my passion for leadership in the performing arts and the world of arts education because of her support and belief in me. But the reason I ask this question, regardless of my current professional position, is because I know that this world is primarily driven by the degrees or masters you have, and in order to enhance my professional development and get more opportunities in the artistic and/or academic world, I may need to get one. So with that thought haunting me every day, I've been searching for degrees that will help me to accredit my current work. That being said, the biggest struggle I have been dealing with in the last few weeks, is the lack of information I currently have about careers that might offer what I am interested in and also the lack of flexibility of careers to study online so I can continue to work and keep my expenses as a freelancer. I have found names of interesting careers but they end up being master's degrees and not bachelor's degrees. I would like to know where are those degrees where I can study something related to directing or artistic education that can be achieved online, or in a short period of time in person. Or, I would like to have a chat with someone who can give me other degree options that might interest me as well and add to the skills I already have and acquire new knowledge. I am very interested in learning more of the educational academic world around the arts field, I also like topics related to human behavior, psychology and anatomy, if that helps give a broader context of the type of degree I am looking for. I have talked to mentors, co-workers, professors, colleagues, professional artists, and they have given me good advice on how to further develop my professional skills without a degree, but no one has helped me find detailed information on bachelor's degrees. I am still looking on my own because I know in the end I will be the one making the final decission, but I would really appreciate more detailed information/advice coming from professionals in the field and I think this is a good place to start.
