Is electrical engineering right for me?
Hello! I'm a high school senior applying for college, and I know I want to do engineering but I'm still a bit unsure about what type to apply for. I was considering Electrical Engineering because the classes sound interesting and I've read up on a couple topics independently because of that, but I'm afraid I don't really know what they're like -- I've taken AP Physics 2 but not AP Physics C, and I really don't know much about hardware in electronics. I'm also not the time to take things apart and put them together, but I'm still interested in math/science as well as problem solving. I just want to know if choosing EE as a major could work out, or if there is a better option for someone like me. How would you know what carrier to choose out of all the carriers? At the beginning of 9th when highs school just started because I don't know what I wanna be. Is SVCTE, a CTE school, a legit enough school for electrican?
I am currently a student at San Jose Job Corps and I am trying to be a electrician. The center here doesn't actually teach people Electrician despite that being my trade and instead sends people to a place called SVCTE, a Career Technical Education school, to obtain the trade. Dear everyone, I'm very thankful for all your support and time that you have dedicated for me. Well for those who don't know what I have been through, Im going to write you a fast story. I was struggling choosing a good subject to study at University in Iran. Well I was able to go to top universities with top subjects to study in Iran. Anyway I have chose Electrical Engineering because of my family Business and being able to immigrate to other countries. My goal is to be a great CEO and having a business running nor in Iran nor in other countries. Some of you had advised me to study business but I wasn't able to that because I had to choose one of the engineering. well I have talked a lot so far, but my love and goal is to be an CEO and business in different fields. Dear my friends, thank you for giving me your time. I really need help in the place I am right now. I really love being a CEO and having the control of a company or a factory, I love to build my own startups and company and I know that, that's what I really like and all the university courses are tools for me to achieve this position.
