Is it advisable to include an "Interests" section on my resume as an experienced professional with a master's degree. Would this addition be perceived as unprofessional, considering it delves into aspects beyond my technical skills and qualifications??

Please guide me here. I just want to explore different approaches.

What should you include in your resume if you're a student with little experience/ skills?

Looking to develop a resume that is effective and stands out, but I'm a high school student without much experience or skills. Are there any things you can include that someone reviewing your resume would find useful to know? Does the fact that I volunteer as a teacher assistant or that I'm oldest to 5 children make any difference? Would really appreciate guidance! #resume #resume-writing #resumes #evaluating-resumes #experience #interviewing-skills #interview #interviews #interviewing #interview-preparation #writing

What are some skills needed to pursue a Business and Communications major (on the more specific spectrum)?

I've been thinking about majoring in this field for quite a while and I think I'm pretty qualified to excel in this field. I've had experience speaking to big crowds formally, I have quite a few connections not only with my peers but some adults who will also be helpful along the way, I think I have a clear voice when I want to say an idea of mine. Is there any other skills or ways to enhance my experience BEFORE I get into college? Thank you in advance! #college #business #career #college-major #finance #experience #communications #marketing

What are some important experiences or lessons you've learned from your own careers that could be helpful for others to know?

What specific skills or knowledge have those experiences taught you? Have they shaped you into the person you are today, and how? This can be a wide range of experiences/lessons such as learning how to balance work and life or how to overcome setbacks. I am currently planning on going into the medical field, and I would like to know your own valuable lessons that you've gained throughout your life/career to help guide me through my career path.

During high school, should I continue volunteering or get a job?

I am currently in high school and am an aspiring psychiatrist. Although there is a long way to go, I want to be as prepared as possible. I am aware that the cost of college and medical school is quite hefty and would like to tend to that as proactively as I can. However, is having money to pay for undergrad (at least) more beneficial than building a resume through volunteering? Simply put, money or experience? I'm all for getting experience and volunteering is a great way to gain it whilst advocating for causes I'm interested in. In an opposing manner, in today's world, you won't get very far without money. Any suggestions? Thank you so much in advance! #volunteer #medicine #college #experience #job
