What are some tips to get into the film industry for someone who is still in college?
I am a film major in my 2nd semester of college I want to be a creative director for film. I have little connections and I need some tips for success.
I am 30, a freelance writer, ADHD, with too many interests, confused what to choose. Any help?
I have multiple interests like filmmaking, movies, art/digital art, fiction writing/novel, screenwriting, basically anything related to story and the craft of storytelling in any medium- writing, visual, etc. With that, I am also too driven for pyschology, self-help, sprituality and philosphy stuff. Then some business aspect with blogging or online stuff attracts me too with the same with Youtube. I am fascinated with content creation for a long time. Having diagnosed with adhd, choosing one thing feels painful and like i am leaving a part of my personality behind, missing out. Even though i entertained the fact that i can be all or most or some one by one over time, and not have to choose. you know the specialization vs generalization thing. But struggling with the concept of not being master in one as well. Any help on this, any resource or anything will be great!

What are the possibilities of a job shadowing for music production or film making in Columbus Ohio as a 16 year old?
I am a 16 year old sophomore interested in learning more about how I can continue in my passion for film-making with other teens and making my own music in the studio through music production. I also play guitar and keyboard for instruments. I wanna find more filmmakers or producers that can help me and find summer programs I can join.
Industry vs Freelancing vs Indie directing?
Is freelancing the same as Indie directing? What separates these three? What are some pros and cons of all three? How do I succeed in each? And how do I switch from one to the other, such as switching from Industry directing to Freelancing? Will I have more control over the movie if I choose to freelance? Google has not helped me one bit.
Are there any nonprofit organizations that help you produce a short film, feature film, or documentary?
I am considering going back to school to achieve my masters in drama therapy and/or MFT. In the meantime, I would like to get some experience with film making/screenwriting and possibly get help funding the project. Which college would be better to go to?
I'm currently deciding between two colleges right now, Binghamton University and University of Colorado Boulder. I'm leaning towards Boulder however I don't know if leaving New York would grant me the same opportunities as Colorado would. My hope is to go into the film industry but I'm going to get a degree in Physics/Computer Science as well as a fall back.

I'm a Junior now in high school and I'm interested in becoming a Director (maybe). I'm really interested in how directors can take this idea of a show or movie and turn it into something that people love and enjoy.
