How can I afford college in my situation?

My mom made a bulk of my families' income, but she is leaving her job for personal reasons. Additionally, my father refuses to put his own money towards my tuition, which makes my FAFSA particularly unfriendly. I am currently at my dream school, Penn State, and have made lots of friends, but I worry that I'll be forced to transfer to a significantly less prestigious school. Please help! #college-tuition #college #scholarships #financial-aid

When thinking of a career path should I have how much debt I will be in after college in mind?

I want to work for a volunteer organization or other low profitable jobs, but I also want to get a college degree. I'm just wondering if it would be smarter/worth it to wait a few years after college before going into a low profitable career because of money? #international-affairs #money-management #financial-aid I am a triplet and also have two brothers so money is not in abundance. #college #scholarships #debt #student-debt #loans #student-loans

What are some reliable websites or places that provide students with resources such as scholarships, grants, etc?

I'm no different from many other college students in terms of realizing that going to college is quite expensive. Most of us find ourselves struggling to find financial aid and resources that will allow us to pursue our chosen profession. As a grad student, I've had to apply for loans and I want to be able to minimize the amount I owe after graduation. I'm aware of some resources provided by my school, but would also like to learn more about some external resources that may be available to graduate students. #Scholarships #student resources #grants #financial-aid #graduate-school #cyber-security

Which loans will be best to obtain for college?

I, as other students, struggle financially. When looking into college, cost is a large concern and I know I will have to take out loans. Considering I must go through college for extra time to gain a pH D in law, as I want, I will have a lot of debt. I am the first in my family to graduate high school and go to college so I cannot ask anyone else about loans. #soontobebrokecollegestudents #scholarship #financial-aid #college

When applying for scholarships, what is the best way to tell if it is a scam or not?

Because college isn't exactly cheap, I've been looking into a bunch of different scholarships and applying to many of them to possibly gain some financial help for when I start attending college. I have also recently discovered that these scholarship opportunities can be a group of scammers gathering personal information.
