I have to take fine arts at my school, but which should I choose if I want to be a doctor? Does it matter at all?

My school has a fine arts requirement to graduate. I would like to become a doctor and am not very interested in art. What genre of classes are best for my situation? My school offers choir, band, orchestra, theatre arts, visual arts, dance, technical theatre, and art history at various levels and subgenres. Does it even matter that much and should I choose any of them? This is high school, by the way!

How much money does a forensic artist make and how much money does a toxicologist make?

I am in my last year of middle school and I am stuck between wanting to be an artist or a forensic artist or a toxicologist. My ideal job would be to be an artist and sell my work (if someone could give ways to sell art that would be much appreciated) but I have heard that artists do not make much money. My next two would be to be a forensic artist or a toxicologist. How much money do they make yearly and what would their schedule look like? I have greatly enjoy art and I have been told that my art is good, so going off of that with practice obviously I think I could sell my art.

Any artists willing to be interviewed?

I have a school project and part of it is interviewing someone from my chosen field. I want to be a fine artist, and would appreciate it if any fine artists/artists in general would be willing to answer my questions. If you are able to, please answer the following questions. Thanks in advance! 1. When did you first decide that you wanted to work as an artist? 2. How long have you been working as an artist? 3. Would you say it’s an easy job? 4. Did you go to an art college or get some form of education for this career? If so, what school did you go to? 5. How has your art career been so far? 6. What is your motivation for making art? 7. Where do you get your inspiration for your artwork? 8. What materials do you use? Do you stick to a few specific ones or do you like to branch out? 9. Does art help you with other skills in life? 10. What have been your favorite and least favorite parts about being an artist? 11. Have you ever collaborated with other artists? If so, what was it like? 12. What advice would you give to any aspiring artists out there?

How do I get the best of both worlds?

How do I follow a career involving art, yet still pays well? All of the occupations considering art that I have found have a low pay-grade. I want to be able to do art for my job, but I also don't want to have to worry about a low income. Are there any art-related jobs that pay well?

What can I expect entering the art field as a newbie when I graduate college?

After I finish college I’m going to start entering the art field. I want to produce my art if a bigger scale and be featured in museums someday soon. I believe in my skills and capability to adapt to new situations, and I pride myself in being a good communicator with people in business settings and socially. I would appreciate any and all advice for starting out as a “newbie” in the art field. Specifically on apprenticeship offers, graphic design or illustrator jobs, Disney experience, and being an independent artist. Thank you.

How do I become an art therapist?

I'm an artist and a first year college student in NYC (Withdrew from second semester). Originally, I was working towards a computer graphics degree (which included art). However, I'm no longer interested in the tech field and after sometime, I realized the mental health field is something I wanted to work in. I quickly found that art therapy sounds right up my ally. My current college doesn't provide that degree so I've spent hours researching the different schools that offer it and have been hit with dead ends or very confusing information. If any art therapists in NYC can give me insight on how you got your degree and which school(s) are accredited or have the courses that accredited school take, that would be amazing. Also, is there a less costly way to become one? So far, all the school in NY that offer it have 5 digit tuitions even with financial aid.

where and when do i start? multi-media artist with no direct plan

I'm Jada, hello. Maybe this will make a lot of sense or it will sound terribly cliche. I know where I want to go as an artist, but the reality is that I don't know where to start. My strongest inspiration is my favorite singer-songwriter, Lady Gaga. With certainty, if Gaga weren't one of the best models of how I'd like to act and work via art in a variety of disciplines, I wouldn't pursue my aspirations. But, as an 11th grader in high school, my alternatives are currently rather constrained. I want to be a strong competent worker, however, it seems I can't discover the ability to learn anything new. Even in class, I'm having trouble. I just need some instruction along the road. Although self-teaching has not been effective, I do strive to keep trying for everything. Even though I haven't learned how to make a Resume, it appears that I can here, which is encouraging. Any advice on how to study or learn better depending on my style of learning would be greatly appreciated. Moreover, it would be really helpful if anyone knew of any free resources I could use to either become a professional or develop the necessary skills. Thank you

i have a question for writers who have published work - what were some challenges that you faced during the process of becoming a writer and publishing your own work and what advice would you give to someone who wishes to become a writer? also have another question for artistic people who make art expressing their work through sculptures or paintings or drawings - what made you want to take this career path and how hard has it been? and do you feel like people don't appreciate art enough in our communities and also what advice do you have for someone who wants to become an artist?

i am really passionate about writing and all forms of art. i struggle a little bit because i feel like i want to do so many things but feeling like i won't be able to do all of those things if i just stick to one career path , so i just want some advice to better help me who's a junior in high school and looking into different careers.
