How could I possibly shadow or contribute to my mentoring?
I have found a mentor that is a professor and a social worker with her own practice. When we first met we discussed things I could do, such as research and just asking questions in general, one of her suggestions was to shadow, but we were both concerned about the ethical dilemmas that would form as I am a highschool student although I do dual psychology classes at college which technically made me a college student. Many college students shadow professionals in the mental health field because they are studying that field, would this make it more acceptable if I were to shadow my mentor while obviously following HIPAA laws, ethical concerns, and getting the patients okay.

I’ve always stressed over the question “what do want to be when you grow up?” because of how many hobbies I have. I wanted to be a writer for a very long time but I’m starting to think it is just a hobby. I love to do theatre and improv, along with art on many different mediums including digital art. Are these all just hobbies or could they be something more?

Thank you! #doctorate-degree #masters #writing #thesis #dissertation #highschool #forensics #medical-education

Hello, I am a freshman in highschool and my dream college is harvard. I want to be a medical malpractice lawyer and go for grad law at Harvard or Cornell and undergrad pre law/ major in psychology or political science at RMU or PSU. First off are these good schools? Am i dreaming too hard? Im a straight A student and I take all academic classes but i feel like im just dreaming and its not going to happen because im just a normal mid class white girl. Id be the first in my family since forever and ever ago to go to college. I also am not rich and i do not go to a rich/big highschool. Anyways what should i know about planning for schools? How do sat and lsat work? Can i take lsat as a highschool student? What classes are good to take as a high school student in prep for pre law? What are good extracurriculars to do? I currently do key club, art club, mock trial, student council, ambassadors (basically students and staff working together to bring the school and community together), choir, show choir, musical theater, dramatics, i have a part time job, and i try and help around the community. I also was in NJHS and I do girls golf. I would love to do ice hockey but currently can’t because my school does not offer it. Thanks for any help!

Is high school honors worth it?
I'm wondering if high school honors matter to empoylers. I already got accepted ED into Northeastern University, so I assume it won't matter to colleges if I didn't get one. I'm planning to drop a math class as I hate math and it just stresses me out. Will Northeastern rescind my application if I drop that math class? I failed the first term of that math class, so I retook it, but will they recind me if I don't finish the second term. Will graduating from high school matter to empoylers at all?

Is it possible to apply for an ADN (take an online course) at the age of 17 and being a junior in highschool without a highschool diploma?
The course could be through a community college, but it needs to be online. My goal/thought process is to be able to do this and have my ADN around graduation of senior year so I can begin working in the field and gaining experience while then attaining my BSN. Is there another approach I should be taking instead? And can I even apply to a community college for an ADN without a highschool diploma since I am a junior.
