I am confused about my career, any advice?

Hi, I am Neha. I have done my Masters in Hospitality and Tourism and later was working as a restaurant manager for almost two years. Recently I started work with a hotel chain as Reservations consultant but my interest lies in tourism industry and to be specific, into airlines. Since I don't have the relevant experience in the the domain, I can't seem to find anything in the field I am interested in. I need suggestion how to go about from here. I can't work during the weekends and nor am I comfortable in sales. Can someone please advice what kind of job would work well?

What is the best way to prepare for studying abroad in Spain for a full semester?

My desire to study abroad stems from wanting to learn the language of Spanish, to travel and see the sights, to re-model myself to see new approaches of lifestyles and to develop and make personal growth with lifetime memories. I might be intimidated to let go of my normal day to day routine as I am a planner who strives on time management and schedules. However, I am eager to learn a different side of myself, to grow more independently and be present for myself and the world around me. Spain is a place that is so relevant to my studies and my intentions as a global citizen. From having family members who have traveled the world tell their stories since I was a little girl, I have been taught and expected to love a country that I have never met. My passion for studying the Spanish language, my major and gaining a deeper understanding of new cultures, has inspired me to apply to study abroad Seville, Spain. I leave in January until May and want to make sure I obtain the best experience and absorb the most learning opportunities. What steps and actions should I look into completing and getting ready before leaving beyond expenses and documents? How can I better prepare my mind to a new culture and the shock along with it? #travel #college #spain #studyabroad #spanish #hospitality #prepare

How do you go about finding a summer internship?

I have just finished my sophomore year at the College of Charleston and was not sure how to go about finding a summer internship before I headed back home to New York. I'm a double major in Business Administration and Hospitality and Tourism so at my college there is a list server for Tourism majors you can sign up to receive emails of local job openings and internships available in the Charleston area. It's very convenient and useful as many of my friends who are staying in Charleston over the summer were able to find some great jobs through it. Now that I am back home in New York I'm struggling to find a job and I was curious as to whether there was something like that here, something that students could sign up for and receive notifications of job listings in a specific area, for a specific major or certain age such as a college student. #business #internships #college-jobs #hospitality #tourism #new-york #openings

What's the most important skill to have to become an entrepreneur?

It's challenging to become an entrepreneur, especially during this time period. I know for me it won't be easy, but I'm very determined to do whatever it takes to become my own boss. Although, there might be people above me still, its something that I think could really go well with being a Pediatrician. Especially when there aren't many hospitals. #hospitality #entrepreneurship #business-management
