What are good jobs to get you started and help you to build confidence?

I would like to soon apply for a job. I'm 17 years old and have not previously had any work, I'm also quite a quiet person so would like a job thats not overwhelming, but that still offers good experience and is of a relatively good pay for a few days a week (I need the time to relax, as well as study for my three A-levels). #career #jobs #career-choice #interviews #time-management #retail #customer-experience

What do you wear to an interview?

I have a few interviews coming up in the following two weeks, and I'm not entirely sure what I should wear to it. I was planning on wearing dress shirt, a tie, khakis, and dress shoes, but I'm afraid it might be too informal. I'm not sure if I will be afford a suit or where I would be able to get one. That being said, should I try to get a suit, or would my current attire be okay? Thanks in advance! #college #career #internships #interviews #recruiting

What ways can I build my resume before college?

Hello, I am a senior this year and heading to a 4-year in the fall. I have been extremely busy this year as I am in 3 AP's this year and participate in 3 sports. So a job has never really been an option for me, because employers do not seem to be really willing to work with my hours despite my work ethic and communication skills. However, I plan on working in college in order to earn some extra money. I have applied for jobs before so I know the process, but it seems to be hard to get a call back without much (or any) work experience. I need some easy, simple ways to build my resume without having worked before. Does it really look good to put babysitting on your resume? #college #resume #interviews

I'm a sophomore in college, and I attended a career fair a few days ago. I talked to a lot of recruiters and many of them gave me their business cards so I could keep in touch in them or ask them any questions. I'm not sure how I would follow up with them, or what I should say, and I would love to hear your insights as to what I should do! #college #computer-science #career #interviews #networking #recruiting
