How can I find and communicate with an engineer for an interview for my high school?

I am looking for someone to interview for my high school engineering academy. I’m interested in mechanical, electrical, and engineering physics but I am happy to interview any engineer. The interview would be online and we could discuss the time that works best for you. If anyone could give me advice on a number to call or if someone volunteers it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading my post and have a great day.

What do you do if you start to panic during an interview?

Hi, I have an upcoming internship interview for the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab. I'm very excited for this opportunity and the role that I am interviewing for (Robotics Engineer Intern — Maritime Systems), but I am very nervous and scared that I'll mess up the interview. In previous interviews, I noticed two main things that I do wrong: I sounded insecure and I also panicked. As soon as I start panicking, my performance goes from bad to awful. So, what do you do if you start to panic during an interview and how can I sound more confident even though I'm not that confident in myself?

How do you avoid Speaking negatively about yourself in interviews? Directly and indirectls

When it comes to interviews, I have trouble coming up with something good and positive to say about myself. With little experience in interviews, I find that in my practice answers, I subconsciously say something negative about myself, indirectly or directly. Now, I'm being more vigilant in what I say, but do you have any other tips for avoiding negative speech? If so, what are they? How do you boost your self-confidence to a balanced level?

What are the best ways to find someone to interview?

Hello! I’m a high school junior looking for someone to interview for my engineering class. The only requirements are that they are from an engineering or tech heavy background although personally i’m very interested in science or programming related fields so that would be preferable. I would also prefer that they live in/are from/went to School in my state-north carolina, but that’s not a requirement. I tried linked in and googling to find professionals near me but the majority of what came up was add listings. Does anyone have advice on how I can find someone in that field who would be interested in an interview?

I would greatly appreciate any guidance, tips, or general information on how to gain more traction in my job search and increase my chances of securing a position that aligns with my Health Care Compliance and Regulations degree. Thank you for your assistance. Do you have any advice, questions, or tips on how to overcome the challenges I am facing in my job search?

Background Information: I hold a bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Compliance and Regulations, and I am actively seeking a job that aligns with my educational background. Despite my strong qualifications and experience in the front and back office as a certified medical assistant, I am facing challenges in obtaining interviews due to the extensive experience requirements listed in most job listings. In addition to my medical assistant background, I have volunteered for over 700 hours in a prominent healthcare organization in the state, gaining valuable exposure to the healthcare industry. Moreover, I possess a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft suites, which has proven beneficial in various administrative and operational tasks. Furthermore, I have approximately six months of internship experience in my field of expertise. During my internship, I worked on several significant projects, including risk assessment and mitigation planning, policy and procedure development and management, and incident reporting and investigations. Despite my qualifications and experiences, I am encountering difficulty securing a role that aligns with my career goals and degree. I have participated in a few interviews, and while no negative feedback was provided, it became evident that my lack of experience compared to other applicants was a significant barrier. Volunteering is an option I am open to; however, the majority of opportunities available require commitments during standard business hours, which conflict with my current schedule.

How can one stand out beyond meeting expectations in an interview. What does going above and beyond in an interview look like beyond the standard “best practices”.?

I’ve been on interviews where I know I meet the requirements, I have the qualifications, and I am both calculated and personable during the interviews, meeting all the industry standards and applying techniques but still get passed up on opportunities that I’d be perfect for? I’ve nailed many interviews but it seems the ones that are most important to me do not go in my favor. How can I change that by being memorable and desired in the workforce?

How can I get job interviews consistently?

I’ve been trying to find my first job for a very long time. I already customize every resume to each job application that I submit. Even though I am looking for my first job, I do have substantial volunteer experience (5 years). I know that job searching is a numbers game, but it doesn’t make sense to me to submit 500 applications for only one to advance me to the interview stage – I’d rather focus my time and energy on crafting my application to get to the interview every time or most of the time. Is there anything I can do to increase my odds of getting a job interview and/or get feedback on why I’m not being considered?
