How difficult is it to become a good teacher?

I am a senior in high school and I plan on majoring in Education to become a teacher. During classes, professors and teachers ask the students about their experiences with tests and former teachers; most say how horrible the teachers are and how most of them never put in the effort to help and that they only work for the paycheck, not for the impact. Hearing this over and over again made me think and ponder about what it takes to become a good teacher and how hard is it to become a good teacher. Knowing/ or having an idea of how difficult it is will help me because I want to change and impact my future students' lives with education. #education #teaching #k-12
