How do I balance a social life as a college student?
I'm a full time student and it's really hard to keep my school, work and social life balance. If I'm not at school then I'm at work because I need to pay for school. But how can I also make time for friends? I work 2 jobs because the school I'm attending is pretty expensive. I only have a year and a half left but I feel like I'm distancing from my friends. What do I do? Any suggestions? #adultingstinks #wishitwassummer #needmorehoursintheday #school #work #life

What kind of job do you recommend for a first year college student?
I'm a high school senior this year and going to be a college freshmen before I know it. I know it's important to focus on classes and even more time studying, but I don't want to graduate from college with a bunch of debt. What kind of job would you recommend to a new college student that wouldn't "overwhelm" him/her. I do qualify for work study, but I'm not sure that would be the best option because it doesn't pay that much. Should I just do work study? Should I get a job at a fast food place or a store or something? What about online jobs? Do you think that would make it easier and less time consuming? There's also side jobs. Do you think it would be beneficial to just do things like bake sales on the weekends or selling art or something small like that in my free time? #College Questions #Life Struggles

What are some ways a high school student is able to answer the age-old question: "What do I want to do for the rest of my life?"
I am a student going into my third year of high school, another year closer to college and choosing the career path I want to walk down. I have always wanted a career where I will be happy doing the work that I am doing. I never would want to force myself to do something that I would regret. Ultimately, as my father says, it all comes down to money. How would I be able to do something I love when it can't even support me? You won't know until you try it, right? But how would I know want I want to do? What can I do to experience different jobs and careers before I would have to choose my major in college, before I have to decide what I want to study and do for the rest of my life? Please help me out as other students, along with myself, are struggling to find out what we really want to do in life. #career #student #high-school #life
How do I really know that a career is for me?
I guess this varies for each person, but recently, I've been questioning what exactly is 'right' for me. I get this gut feeling that something is right and that it's exactly what I want, but then I begin to pick at the negative things and then I convince myself that the career path isn't for me. It's like I let my mind talk myself out of some of things that make me the happiest. And with that being said, how do I know if a specific career path is for me? #doctor #career #hospital #life

In a world where passion has been overtaken by gluttony, what do you think is important while finalizing a career choice, money or passion?
Being a indecisive person myself, how can I ensure I take calculated risks in a career I'm passionate about and acquire financial stability and independence. The bitter truth about my career choice is it's low income and I would like to have a perfect work life balance, so how can I make money and still persue my passion, or should I place one over the other? This is a general question and is open for all, regardless of career. I would like to hear different viewpoints and experiences of individuals. #JULY20 #life
