Why is it so difficult for non-traditional students to get financial aid?
As a student who is not right out of high school, nor has the ability to have parental assistance, I have found it almost impossible to find scholarships and/or grants for someone such as myself that is classified as a non-traditional student. Not to mention, it's impossible to obtain student loans if you have poor credit and have no available co-signer. It makes paying for college very difficult. #financialaid #nontraditionalstudent #loans #college-scholarships

The school I am going to doesn't accept student loans? I have been doing scholarships a lot but how else can I fund my education? Are their other ways?
There is no federal funding at the college I am attending. They offer a 12,000 loan each year but that will obviously not cover the whole tuition and room and board. I have a 3.96 unweighted GPA but because it is a very competitive college that really doesn't get me many scholarships. I have been searching for scholarships and doing one almost everyday, but the competition level is very high and they are hard to get. I can't apply for any local scholarships because I am cyber schooled after leaving my local high school. I really want to be able to attend because it is good and well accredited college, but I don't know how to do that without being able to use student loans. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks #education #scholarships #gpa #loans #financing
What is credit and how do I build good credit?
Going into college you are confronted with lots of ways to pay for tuition, including loans. Typically, everyone is charged around the same interest for their loans because there tends to be little to no credit history among young individuals . I know that this may not be the case for any future loans I may take and that my credit score may be taken into account when a bank is giving out a loan. So how do I begin to build my credit and work towards earning a good score? #finance #credit-cards #credit #college #money #loans #student-loans
