Is it better to have one major and two minors or two majors and one minor?
I am a bit unsure on exactly what I want to have as a career so i assume having more options (2 majors) is better than having one. Yet, I can assume that having two majors could be a bit more stressful than having one so I would also have to put that into consideration. #majors #double-major #college

What are the best colleges for forensic pathology, and what should I major in once I get there?
I'm currently a Sophomore and want to go into forensic pathology, but I'm not sure where I should be looking to apply to. I know I need to be looking for colleges with good medical fields, but there's so many different choices that it gets overwhelming. I should probably mention that I'm queer and transgender, so schools in more southern areas might be a bit spooky. I also have no idea what I should plan to major in. I know I still have a hot minute, but I'm looking at another 12ish years of school, so I'd like to make sure I have a good plan. #major #college-majors #medicalexaminer #forensicpathology #college #majors

#cosmetology #cosmetics #majors #buisness #college Good afternoon, My name is Londen and I am a sophomore in college and after I finish my other 2 years I am going to go into the hair school to get my hair license and while I am in hair school, I working on finding a renting a space for my hair studio and from that point once i become more bigger to expand. I have many techniques for hair that I am able to understand and use but I don't have many supportive people that are jealous but a couple clients I practice on and laying low on my career plans., I was wondering, do you think finishing college first and then going to hair school ? only reason i ask that because it would be so much on my plate that would cause me stress and i want to be able to do things one by one. my next question is how was hair school for you ? how did you know which one was right for you ?. Furthermore, I love to sew in braid , different styles but all hair schools provide that . I'm so nervous about my future and so nervous about everything and I feel like it's going to fall . Lastly, what would be the advice you would give me as a college student ? how was your state board exam test ? I really would appreciate and it would mean so much for me .( i am taking accounting classes to help me run the business and i will be taking my business courses my junior and senior year of college).

How do you narrow down your options for your major in college.
I have some options right now for my major in college. They are engineering, culinary, art, and music. I know all of them except engineering are more looked at as minors, unless you go to an art school or cooking school. I also enjoy the others more than the idea of engineering. I know its nice to have options, but I feel that I may have too many. What I want to know is some tips for narrowing down my options. #college #majors

I'm a marketing major in my 3rd year - but I loved my accounting class! How do I know which to major in?
I am currently a third year student in marketing. I switched to marketing at the beginning of my third year, so the business classes were knew to me. I will be graduating late. I took accounting 1 this fall and I absolutely loved it - which is weird for me to say. I didn't know anything about accounting before this class, so I thought I was going to dread it. It ended up being really "easy" for me since I enjoyed figuring the problems out and didn't mind studying. This was my first college class that I felt this way about. It is making me want to switch my major to accounting. Although, I haven't taken any marketing classes yet. I enjoy marketing partly because I enjoy the free range of job opportunities after undergrad. I like that it is creative and has endless job opportunities that don't all involve a job in a cubicle. I was looking for advice on this decision I have. I definitely need to shadow people in accounting and in marketing, but was also looking for advice on here from anyone! #major #business #college #advisor #accounting #marketing #career #advice #majors #jobs
