I'm a sophomore in high school and I wish to become an accountant. I am in honors math classes and I quite enjoy math, I get exited once I finally solve a challenging problem. I had a project in 8th grade that involved taxes and I actually enjoyed it, that's how I got the idea that I want to be an accountant. I'm not exactly sure how to become an accountant. Math is not one of my strongest strengths. Will I struggle in the area of economics because of this?

Hi, I'm a 16-year-old high school student determined to get an education in the areas of economics and business. I have many strengths but one of them does not include math. The Idea of this extremely bothers me because I feel as if I will struggle. Any advice? (thank you for all the responses, I'm sorry I don't get to say thank you to everyone who takes the time to answer my questions but thank you!) #career #economics #business #highschool #highschoolstudent #math #strengths #student #linkedin

Why did you become an auditor?

I just heard about this job. I'm great with numbers, and do well in math class in high school, but this job sounds kind of boring. Do you like your job as an auditor? Is it really as boring as it sounds staring at spreadsheets and numbers all day? I'd also like to hear why you chose to become an auditor. Thank you! #business #finance #accounting #math #stem #auditing

How do you choose whether to major in computer science or software engineering?

I am applying for college soon, but I do not know how to pick between computer science and software engineering. I have not always been the best at math, and didn't do very well in math early on in my highschool career, but I managed to work my math grade up over the years. I am not naturally amazing at math, but I do find it interesting. #computer-science #computer #engineering #math #software

What's the best major/career for me?

I have been trying to find a major/career that suits me for a while, but nothing seems to stick because I have so many interests. I recently graduated from Clayton State University with my Associate of Arts in Integrative Studies and I will be graduating from high school in May. I plan to enroll in college in August, but the college I choose strongly depends on my major. My interests include: Mathematics (Statistics and Algebra), Science (Biology and Human anatomy), Healthcare, Office work, Education (Teaching/children), Mental health/ Counseling, Handling money, and Management/Business Administration/ Human resources. My goals for my career include: helping others , having a salary that allows me to live comfortably, having a good work-life balance, and being happy with my career. I would love to find a major/career that includes most, if not all, of my interests and goals. I would also like to be able to start working after I obtain my bachelor's or master's degree (if needed). Can you please provide me with any majors, careers, and colleges that could possibly be a good fit? #career #business #healthcare #management #education #college #mentalhealth #science #math

What’s a good career/major if you absolutely sucks at everything related to math and numbers but you are pretty good at everything else?

I’ve been struggling a lot in my advanced math classes, but I did exceptionally well in all of my other classes, including physics. Is there any computer related major that doesn’t involve too much math?(No calculus involved please) #math #mathematics #career-options #computer

Does pursuing a mathematics degree make sense for data analytics and or finance?

I am typically fascinated by mathematics as a whole and I am vaguely interested in data analytics or finance. I do plan on learning more on my own about both careers but I want to hear from other professionals if getting a mathematics degree is worth the time investment for either those two careers. #finance #math #career

How do I know if engineering is the right field for me?

Hi! I'm currently a high school student trying to figure out what to major in for college. I enjoy solving problems and learning math/science, but I've never really been the type of person to take things apart and put them together just for the sake of it. Could I still consider being an engineer? Or is there another better option out there for me? #engineering #engineer #math #science #college #solutions #major #technology #tech
