How much of physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics are used in environmental engineering (each)? Is the field generally enjoyable for someone with a love of physics and math? Do environmental engineers spend much of their time at their work outside?

As a devoted environmentalist and vegetarian, I believe improving the environment is absolutely my purpose in math. As I have a passion for physics and mathematics (particularly calculus), engineering seems to be my best fit for my science expertise. However, I am undecided on whether simply teaching physics and participating in environmentally beneficial hobbies is a best bet rather than engineering, due to my wish of a career that is heavy in physics. #engineering #science #mechanical-engineering #mathematics #math #physics #environmental #undecided

Do you have to be great at math to become a nurse?

Hey! I know I want to be a nurse one day. Everyone I talk to (medical students, nursing professors, nurses, etc) say that you need to be good at math. I don't fail math, but it is definitely not my strong suit. I can do it, but it might take me awhile. So, my question is, since I am not great at math, should I look into a different career that's not nursing? Or will I be able to be a nurse, even though I'm not great at math. Thanks for you help! #nursing #medicine #health #math #nursing-education

What abilities that I need to prepare and practice when I have just graduated from high school to be excel at topology in the future?

I have dreamed to become a mathematician and the main topic which I have intended to pursue is topology, although I have just finished high school. Recently, I have doubt about my ability to do abstract math or something like combinatorics which I heard from someone said this was appropriate for my career, for that I need some who can give me a detail information so I can be more assured about the path I chose. #college #career #mathematics #math #higher-education #major
