Is there any advice I could get on how to make medical school work?

I’m a college freshman majoring in nursing. I’m thinking of continuing my study in medicine after I graduate but I don’t know if it’s worth it. School debuts makes me scared and I’m from a low income family that can’t even make 30,000 a year. I’ve missed all the good opportunities and scholarships. I can’t even pay the tuition for the class I’m taking right now. I don’t know if I school even pursue medical school. Is there any advice I could get on how to make it work?

Which schools located on the north-western part of the U.S. has good psychological programs?

I’m looking to major in something similar to psychology or the function of the brain. But my home state is Montana and I don’t want to go too far from home. I haven’t decided a specific job that I wanted to go for yet I would just prefer if it’s related to the brain. It would also help if the school didn’t cost all too much.

How do you discover the medical profession that most suited you the best?

As a college student I know I want to be in the medical field, I have kept my options open, but I haven't been able to truly explore all the careers available. I am hoping that someone who once stood in my shoes would lend me a few words of advice from their experiences. I also am curious to know what schools UC, CSU, or private schools are better suited for pre-med or medical school. Any extra information relevant to this topic would be helpful. Thank you for your time and effort, have a blessed day!

Is spending more than a decade in college worth it to become a doctor? Is it possible to shorten that amount of time??

Spending so long in college is the one thing that makes me question if I want to be a doctor, more specifically a dermalogist because what would I be learning that would take 12 years to master? Also, others the same age with me would already have jobs.
