I am in the 10th grade, I'm majoring in the medical professions field in high school.

I am in the 10th grade, I'm majoring in the medical professions field in highschool, I'm at a 2.6 GPA, taking 3 AP classes and 1 honor class. What is some advice you could give me to improve my GPA? In the future, I strive to be a neurosurgeon but I'm afraid my grades are going to prevent me from becoming a neurosurgeon and entering a good college, I also want to join the Navy while studying my major, so any suggestions to set my life up for success (such as what classes and majors should I study) and to improve my grades?

I want to be a neuroscientist. In September, I'll be attending university for BScH in Neuroscience. Should I double major in Neuroscience and Computer Science? This will take 5 years instead of the usual four.

I am going to Canada (from India) to study neuroscience. I'm just wondering if computer would be helpful in neuroscience. Remember that I really love Computer, know C and Java, but I would have so many things going on provided research, extracurricular activities, volunteering, and so on.

Do I have a chance at becoming a medical doctor after 13 years of a statistics degree?

I have always wanted to be a medical doctor, factors beyond me made me pursue a BSc. in Statistics and i graduated over 13 years ago. Although, I have lost a lot of years, I now want to pursue that dream of becoming a medical doctor. Do I have a chance? I am trying to apply for a pre med program @ the moment. Which program would be best to enrol in? Is there a way I could complete a pre med program in less than 4 years? How? Can my previous degree help the process in any way? #doctor #surgeon #neurosurgeon #medicine

What’s the best major to pursue in order to become a neurosurgeon

I have little guidance from family members due to their lack of knowledge about college, therefore I’d like to have a better idea of what I’m getting into. How to become a Neurosurgeon?

Okay so I have a question or multiple. I am very uneducated about all of this. I am already taking college classes now. Is there anyway I could just go straight into medical school? What is residency? If it is what I am thinking is there anyway to do reisdency in another state or do you have to stay where you were going to school and do reisdency in the same state you attended college at? What classes do you take to become a neurosurgeon? If you need I can tell you what I am taking now, and what I need to take. I am taking advantage of this oppurtunity I have in getting a head start on college while still in high school. I am just confused about all of this. I feel very dumb about this. I plan on getting the best education I can get, and I want to be in and out of college as quick as I can. I want to know if I can do medical school, and college at the same time. What residency is, and if you still have to attend college while doing that. What classes you have to have to become a Neurosurgeon. Finally, any other things I have to do to show I am dedicated to helping others, and really wanting to finish this career path as soon as possible. #medicine #surgery #neuroscience #neurology #neurosurgeon
